Welcome to the Countdown Times!

I fear that my time machine has broken and put me in the wrong year. No worries, I have you to help me! I will give you a newspaper with which to deduce which year I'm in and tell me how many years I must travel to arrive at my destination. I do apologize about the publication year being redacted, though.

The range of years featured in the game is 1900-2000.

How to play:

Given a newspaper and a target year, you must deduce how many years you need to travel in time (either forward or backward) to get to it according to your given newspaper. If your guess is wrong, you are transported to where it would have taken you to try again. You have six attempts.
